Our students gather together regularly in Ormskirk and Southport to worship, have fun, share life and of course food! This is a time in life when you can serve with your gifts, be stirred, sharpened, encouraged and grow in your faith like never before!
What Normally Goes On?
Blueprints:
This is our mid-week student gathering hosted in Ormskirk where we come together to sharpen, encourage and grow in our relationship with Jesus. See below for more info.
Sunday mornings:
We join together for our Sunday Celebration at 10.30am at The Community Church in Southport. Free transport is available if you are at Edge Hill in Ormskirk, leaving from the security lodge at the front gate of the University at 10.00am. Get in touch if you want to visit us. Student Lunches:
We offer free lunches during term time after the morning celebration, so take the opportunity to get to know a local family and have some great food! Join the group chat or get in touch to find out more.
Coffee, cake and chat:
A great combination …so why not meet up with our student worker, Harry, and chat through how student life is going and how we might be able to help you. You can book into meet him by clicking here.
Serving:
We encourage everyone to throw themselves into the church community and seek to serve somewhere – either midweek or on Sundays. Whether it’s on the steward, hospitality, welcome, worship or media team – there is a place and space for all.
Our Young Adult group is called 'Blueprints' because we believe that your time at university is such a key and foundational time for people in their walk with Jesus. We meet regularly on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm to give time to be together and go deeper in our relationship with Jesus. It's a great opportunity to meet and connect with new people.
At 'Blueprints', we believe it's important to have an environment where you have the freedom to share your experiences and ask any questions that you might have about life and faith. There is no question that is silly or stupid. We'll do everything we can to help you feel at home with us.
We also run outreaches over the term to share the life and love of Jesus. These have been open meals, to being in Ormskirk market with a stall, to Alpha, to partnering with Kintsugi Hope to help people with their mental health, to street evangelism to Christmas outreaches. If you want to get involved, we'd love to talk with you, get in touch.
In addition to our midweek get togethers, we also join up with the wider church for our Sunday morning celebrations at The Community Church and nationally with other churches. We have a national YA weekend away at Cefn Lea Feb 27th-March 1st. You can book on below.
Don't worry about transport to and from the meetings as we arrange that free of charge!

Join us for 3 days at Cefn Lea Conference Centre. We're coming together to seek God's presence, deepen friendships, and remember that His purpose for our lives is so much bigger than the daily grind.
